Gamuda Berhad is one of Malaysia’s leading construction and engineering companies, responsible for the bulk of megastructures dotted around the country. These projects have become an essential part of the average day of any Malaysian. We were tasked with redesigning their website, showcasing the best of the brand and its projects - through design, copy and functionality.

THE BRIEF


To redesign the Gamuda website that reflects the brand’s level of professionalism, and how it is positioned as a leader in the Malaysian construction and engineering industry.

CHALLENGES


Ensuring full functionality of the website, including a fully responsive design. A tight deadline that needed to be met before the specified launch date.

SOLUTIONS


Using listening tools to submit twice daily reports so that issues can be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

A Facebook campaign was devised to grow fans who are within relevant industries.

To grow Twitter followers, an informative campaign surrounding the underground stations with an emphasis on the local talent involved in the construction.

RESULTS


Gamuda has been a pioneer in Malaysia’s construction and engineering industry, and of course, it comes with a level of professionalism and precision that is needed for their job. Having said that, our team was tasked with giving the website a fresh coat of paint to reflect these traits.

The first step to creating any good website is to lay down the fundamentals, and this begins with coming up with ideas. We wanted something clean, easy to navigate and responsive but also full of practical information.
